//Well, one week after getting her relocated she is still suffering from post traumatic stress. She was in good spirits the day she packed up her stuff and was driven the 752 miles across the state lines. But the day we had to put her belongings into a storage unit, she became emotional again. It’s hard to bring peace to someone who feels so alone and insecure. She doesn’t have housing yet, she doesn’t have her belongings with her to comfort her, and she is struggling with the uncertain future.  Although there are plenty of people around to support her and to make sure she will be taken care of.

And this is only the beginning. We have yet to get Mackenzie and Chantel. Mackenzie needs to be moved soon. She is in an unsafe situation, with her pedophile step-grandfather, and her grandmother who is oblivious and supportive of her mate. The earliest ETA we can give them is sometime around the new year. I hate that this is going to take longer. Leaving them there now is scary. Both have had thoughts of wanting to die.  We would love to get them out sooner, but there is always a number of things to hold that up.

The final moves we make this year will be the hardest.
