Achievment updates: Currently 60 unlockable skins (til more added) – Total unlocked skins = 60! I have all the current unlockable skins. Yay for rewards day xP
Trophies – i’m up to 22. Most recent are the retired items collector (thank you thank you for that extreamly rare item that I needed!) and the all collections champion.

All collections champion also means that I competed all the current collections. Yatta! – but now I need things to collect, lawl. I told Wayne to get busy making more skins!

I also made EM recently (= Fun little bonus.
I’m sad that I can no longer poke myself xP Snoopie said we’d trade off on pokes now. I increased his poke goal to an insane amount (100,000,000,000.001) Good luck on that one xD

Diamond-Dust

We decided to rent some movies the other night.

Movie ONE: Blood Diamond

- Great film about the conflict diamonds in Africa. Movie was all hollywood drama, but it reminds you of the current conflicts in Kenya. And even musical artists are dedicating thier videos to make people more aware of what is happening in Africa, like Fall Out Boy’s I’m like a lawyer (Me and You), I think there was another artist that did one, but I just can’t remember who.

Movie TWO: Stardust

- This was actually better than I anticipated. There was nearly no hype for this movie when it hit theatres, and I heard next to nothing on reviews for it, so I wasn’t expecting much. I thought it would be cute, and maybe a little corny, but actually it wasn’t. It was a great fantasy story, and had some funny parts in it, good solid plot and great acting. I loved it.

Okay, yeah. I was just in the zoo, and they were quite harmless. But it was fun to take the screenies. Thought the balrog pose was hilarious.
Here we wre meeting up in the FM for one of Adrian’s elimination rounds. Which never happened that day. But he decided to shoot some scenes for another video.

It was really just a goof off day, since I didn’t get much training in that day at all xD

One of those was right after we were shooting scenes for a video. I’m still wondering if he’s going to use that one line I threw in there while ad-libbing xP

I had a newbie follow me around the island yesterday. Snoopie tried to scare him away, but he was in Ludi, so that didn’t help xD We traveled clear around the island. He would get lost, and I would poke snails til he caught up o: Then I CC’d and stopped to have a chat with Zach and he disappeared o= *poof*

Odd Girl Out

So, for starters, writing this year’s paper on last year’s experiences turned out to be a wonderful blessing in disguise. I mean, to be able to take it and turn it around and use it this way has been amazing. Plus the peers in class loved it too, and we’ve had discussions about the topic in general since then. It was cool, cause I got to hear from them about other similar experiences.

Just a few pointers – So I don’t have to publicize the paper:

Rachel Simmons is the wonderful author of Odd Girl out, which was made into a tv-movie, and the sequel Odd Girl Speaks Out. I recommend you take the time to pick these books up. Or if you are lazy, at least watch the movie. xP
It really really really goes into great detail of the stereotypical queen-bee, mean chicks, girl clique bullies and the aspects of the group and their targets. What occurs on the inside and how it affects people psychologically.
I had so much to learn on this being that I never had the experience during that age group. I knew it existed, as most do, but I wasn’t real aware of most of it. So coming from it now, I was able to really see a lot of interesting aspects of it. From where the jealousy occurs, to the aggression, to the hazing and taunting. Being able to place names to each was fascinating as well. I was constantly amazed at how everything fit.

Plus, there was like a list of things I wish I had known before last year xD
-  ….don’t try to IM (instant message) your way through a fight…
- …..Cyber-bullies may publish personal contact information for their victims at websites. They may attempt to assume the identity of a victim for the purpose of publishing material in their name that defames or ridicules them…..

I mean, THEY WRITE BOOKS ON THIS STUFF XDD how classic is that for you.

One term I loved – “Hanger-ons” you know, those sheep that follow along with what the “in” group is doing going “baa-baa”

Yet, the research didn’t end there. I was witness to another incident not long after that involved boys taunting and hazing. Now typically you see females in this role because girls are more emotionally driven, and guys tend to be physical in their approach to aggression. But when a few of us broke down the situation, some interesting things came from it.
- one being that it occurred online. The boys could not express their aggression physically
- The boy had been “the odd one out” prior to the incident. And therefore used his way back “in” by hazing another. Creating another victim, and removing himself from that position.
- So what exactly does that say about how our society works then?

Got a few more trophies added. The super pack rat upgrade, the Super Lucky at Wishing Well, and the Slots Machine (finally). I have unlocked 9 more skins, total 50. I owe some credit to Matchu for finding them xP The one I really need to work on now is the Sensei skin. (will need assistance with that).

Started A semi-album guide to help myself and others keep track of what items go in what collections. I’ve got quite a few done, and some that I am SO CLOSE to finishing, if only those items weren’t so darn rare. ;-;

My I/L character is now LVL39! I was a doof, and didn’t get a current image of it. And the server is down for maintenance. Ah well. I wanted to fraps some of it just for my own amusement. It was cool being in the videos that are already up, but I want to make some for me to keep record of. Like when I make 70 ;D

One of the cool things my sister got me this year, was a scrapbook album. I had many pages already that she had put together, but I didn’t have an album to place them all in. She did a really beautiful sisters page, and included the page that I had worked on back in October. I also got this really cute framed image of Ethan. They had gone to a wedding, and the photographer snapped a great shot of him.
The workbooks that I had sent up with the christmas toys for him, he has already been working through them. I thought one would have still been a little hard for him, but he’s picking it up pretty quick.

I still haven’t taken Christmas stuff down yet. D:
